Biography
Gary Linn is a native of Wichita, Kansas where he grew up in a dedicated golfing family. He received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree (1978) from Kansas State University.
Gary’s industry experience began in 1978, and for more than 20 years he served as Vice President of Design and lead project architect for the Robert Trent Jones II group based in Palo Alto, California. In 1999, Gary formed Knott & Linn Golf Design with RTJII partner and fellow ASGCA member Don Knott. During his career, Gary has personally designed, supervised and overseen the completion of more than 40 courses worldwide.
Gary is a licensed Landscape Architect and a long-standing ASGCA member where he currently serves on the Board of Directors and membership committee.
