Bob attended Purdue University and received a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture in 1981. He went on to earn an M.S. in Civil Engineering in 1983. While in school, he worked for Howard, Needles, Tammen, & Bergendoff from 1990 to 1993. Upon graduation, he formed Robert Gibbons Design, and currently works under the banner of Tom Watson Design. With his background in architecture and civil engineering, Bob is uniquely qualified to handle varying climates and terrain. While his goal is to create a course that is both playable and attractive, he is mindful of protecting and improving the land's natural resources.
