Brian grew up playing the Inverness Club, the historic Donald Ross course in Toledo, Ohio. He attended Ohio State University and in 1981 graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. Later he returned to Ohio State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture. He had decided against the difficulties of being a golf course superintendent and decided to take on the challenges of golf course design.
After a short stint at The Collaborative Inc. as a Landscape Architect, Brian joined the Arthur Hills and Associates team as a Project Architect. In 2012 he began his own business, Yoder Design LLC. His background of playing golf and thorough design skills allow him to put a golfer's perspective to his top-notch course designs.
