Chad attended Kansas State University in order to pursue his dream of becoming a golf course architect- a dream he'd had since being introduced to the game through a junior golf program in Warrensburg, Missouri. He graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture in 1999 and joined the prestigious firm of Nicklaus Design just one week after graduation. Chad worked his way up through the company, starting in the production department, moving to an on-site design coordinator, and then being named a Design Associate in 2007. While based in Europe for 10 years, Chad worked extensively on the multi-course project at Polaris World in Spain as well as on numerous other projects around Europe. Now carrying the title of Senior Design Associate and based in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Chad carries on the Nicklaus Design tradition of relying on a very focused and detailed on-site design process. Special emphasis is placed on playability and strategic interest while also creating designs that enhance and respect the local environment.
