Following a golf scholarship at Daytona Beach Community College, George went on to the University of Florida to study Horticulture & Architectural Drawing, just as his father Lloyd had done. Since 1975, George has worked with his father, making drafting plans and scaled drawings. In fact, his concept and detail drawings are well-renowned in golf. Before the conception of Clifton Ezell Clifton Golf Design Group, George represented several leading suppliers of fertilizers, chemicals, and seeds to the Florida golf market. Today, he is part of a small, dedicated team that provides clients with a personal touch; the team members' personalities and expertise mesh, making a thorough and responsive design team for each client.
