Greg Muirhead, an ASGCA Past President & Regular Member since 1989, joined Rees Jones, Inc. in 1984, upon graduating from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Design.
Greg specializes in the design, or redesign, of daily-fee, resort & private golf facilities.
Among his notable projects are Atlantic Golf Club, Bridgehampton, New York; Nantucket Golf Club, Nantucket, Massachusetts; Shadow Hawk Golf Club, Houston; and 3 Creek Ranch Golf Club, Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Greg was the Co-Designer of three courses named "Best New", by Golf Digest magazine (Atlantic GC, Bridgehampton, NY Sandpines Golf Links, Florence, OR & Nantucket GC, Nantucket, MA).
Greg has also Co-Designed three courses prepared to host five US Open Championships (Congressional CC Blue - 1997; Bethpage Black - 2002 & 2009; Torrey Pines South 2008 & 2021), one PGA Championship (Bethpage Black - 2020), one Ryder Cup (Bethpage Black - 2024) and one Walker Cup (Ocean Forest GC - 2001).
Greg has also Co-Designed several new & remodeled courses that have hosted over 60 PGA Tour events.
