Ken Ezell graduated from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina with a major in Business Administration. While at Furman, Ken was a three–time Collegiate All–American Golf Team Member, and he participated in four USGA Championships, including the 1976 U.S. Open in Atlanta as an Amateur. Until the formation of Clifton Ezell Clifton Golf Design Group, Ken was a Class "A" PGA Professional. At CEC, Ken oversees the majority of the company's business operations. He was the instrumental member in leading CEC into ownership positions of four courses in eight recent years. Ken's knowledge of the golf business has also been helpful in advising institutions and golf clubs to return projects to viability and profit. Ken and his partners try to build each of their courses "to test the best but be fair to the rest." The firm's courses are unique, in character and in challenge, and are successful based on their own individual merits and high quality.
