Born and raised in Mechanicsville, Virginia, Logan attended West Virginia University, receiving a BS Landscape Architecture Degree in 2012. Following graduation, Logan worked on the maintenance staff at The River Course at The Country Club of Virginia, gaining valuable knowledge on what it takes to maintain a golf course at a high level. In 2014 he was brought on by McDonald & Sons Golf Course Builders, Inc. as a design associate and project manager. Being involved with the construction side provided invaluable experience and knowledge when it came time to creating designs. In the Spring of 2023, Logan became Lead Designer of McDonald Design Group, continuing a successful design-build model that has produced numerous successful long-range master plans, full course renovations & restorations, and practice facility designs.
