A veteran of golf design throughout the world, Tim has been a mainstay at some of the world’s best courses for nearly three decades. He entered the golf design business in 1995, and three years later joined European Golf Design. Over his six years with the firm, Tim throughout the world, including Ireland, Turkey, Finland, Portugal, Spain, Wales and the Czech Republic.
Following his time with EGD, starting in 2004, Tim worked as part of the firm Thomson, Perrett and Lobb. In 2016, when golf legend Peter Thomson retired from the business, Tim formed Lobb + Partners with the goal of bringing a cooperative and international approach to golf design.
The firm now includes partners throughout the world, and Tim has led designs in international markets, including Nigeria, Egypt, the United Kingdom, and Asia, while also establishing offices in Canada, Korea and Spain. Tim has also worked on several of the most noted historic courses in the U.K., including Woking, St. George’s Hill, The Berkshire and Wimbledon Park GC. A Past President of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects, he is also a member of the Society of Australian Golf Course Architects.
