William Kerman received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Ohio Northern University in 1975 and his Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Akron. In his career, Bill has held titles including Consulting Engineer & Surveyor, Project Manager of Design & Manufacturing, Administrator with the Department of Transportation, and Consultant doing Feasibility Analysis. Though Bill's schooling and training is in civil engineering, he is a golf course architect by choice. With his extensive technical background, Bill specializes in projects with extreme site and environmental restrictions. He is also knowledgeable regarding the land planning and development process. Bill joined Hurdzan/Fry Design in 1989, and launched his own firm, Kerman Design Services, in 2011. In addition to ASGCA, Bill is affiliated with the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America and the United States Golf Association. He is a founding life member of the Keepers of the Green in St. Andrews, Scotland and is also a licensed civil engineer in Ohio.
