Designer Notes:

The old farm bell on the 12th hole of the Pete Dye Club, Bridgeport, W.V., is rung by players when they leave the hidden green. The ringing of the bell tells the next group that the hole is cleared for their play. This quaint old custom is found on many of the blind holes in Scotland. Although the yardage is short, number 12 requires exacting shots to play up to the partially hidden green. This hole provides an excellent opportunity for a player to use strategic play to match the strength of a partner. Combined with the rustic charm of the ringing farm bell, this hole makes for a great experience.
