Paul Albanese, ASGCA (Albanese & Lutzke, Golf Course Design & Construction Management), has extensive experience designing golf courses on Native American lands. This includes Sage Run, which is set to open in Bark River, Michigan.
Albanese discusses his design philosophy and the unique opportunities afforded by working with Native Americans in a “Tartan Talks” discussion with Guy Cipriano and Golf Course Architecture. He also touches on the “best compliment” a golf course architect can receive from a client; being asked back for a second project.
