At the next Golf Business Forum, KPMG will present its Lifetime Achievement Award to Dr. David Chu, founder of the Mission Hills Golf Club. The award is given to an individual who has significantly contributed to the game and business of golf throughout his or her life. In just over a decade, Dr. Chu has introduced more than 100 golf tournaments and events to China.
With his effort, China was able to host its first World Golf Championship in 2009, opening a new chapter in the country’s golf history. Chu is often mentioned as ‘The Father of Golf in China’ and enjoys great respect in the country and throughout the world.
