The first U.S. staging of the HSBC Golf Business Forum will be held at the Marriott Sawgrass Resort in Ponte Vedra, Florida, Nov. 28 – Dec. 1. The American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA) is one of several golf industry membership organizations to join the HSBC Allied Partnership category for the event.
To capitalize on this first U.S.-based Forum, HSBC is partnering with ASGCA, Club Managers Association of America, Golf Course Builders Association of America, Golf Course Superintendent’s Association of America and National Golf Course Owners of America.
As a result of these partnerships, members will have the opportunity to register and attend the HSBC Golf Business Forum at specially arranged rates.
“In the new Allied Partners category, we are delighted to have the wholehearted support of the key industry sectors from golf course development, construction, operation and maintenance. These sectors will play a key role on the agenda at this year’s Forum at Sawgrass, and we are looking forward to welcoming their delegates along with those from our much valued premier and associate partnerships,” said Guy Kinnings, Chairman, Golf, IMG.
The two-day event features an action-packed agenda of the game’s most influential voices, leaders, decision-makers and global innovators from all corners of the golf industry. Attendees will enjoy keynote speakers, take part in thought leadership and networking sessions, and play the famous TPC Sawgrass Stadium course on 1 December.
The Premier and Associate Partnership category is becoming richly populated with Colt McKenzie McNair, Jack Nicklaus Design, John Deere, KPMG, NGF, Syngenta, Troon Golf and Visit Scotland, all to make significant contributions to the agenda.
Endorsing partners The R&A, PGA Tour, LPGA, USPGA, European Tour and PGA of America are all engaged with their CEOs, enriching the keynote speakers and panel sessions with the likes of the R&A’s Martin Slumbers, PGA’s Tim Finchem and LPGA’s Mike Whan, who are all committed to participate.
