Bryce graduated from Iowa State University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. After his graduation, he landed a job as a designer at William James Spear & Associates. In 1996, he became a Designer/Project Architect at Hale Irwin Golf Design until 1999. It was in 1999 that he was hired by Rees Jones, Inc., where he continues to work today as a senior designer and vice president. Bryce enjoys designing golf courses that are challenging, but also fun and interesting to play time and time again. A mixture of innovative style and traditional design is how Bryce would label the golf courses he designs. In 2010, he was named to "Golf magazine's 40 under 40: The 40 most influential people in golf under 40 years old," one of three golf course architects on the list.
