In a recent article from TheNational.ae, writer W. Johnson reports on Kyle Phillips‘s, ASGCA recent work in the United Arab Emirates. According to the article, Phillips has created Abu Dhabi’s first true links course, which is set to open early next year.
The 7, 450-yard course on Yas Island makes maximum use of the coastline, with eight of its holes following the shoreline, and with all 18 holes boasting a view of the sea. In addition to the course’s obvious natural hazards, the par 72 course has 144 bunkers scattered across its grounds.
