The program aims to provide piece of mind to a club’s staff and management team through a trusted and accountable go-to design resource. Ultimately, the article reports, McNeil’s firm would like to become an extension of a club’s golf course management team.
Courses with an “Architect on Staff” relationship receive the following services:
· As-needed visits to a course (over a year’s time) to address design issues or provide improvement directives
· On-call Design Inquiry services to answer questions related to construction specifications or materials, or other golf-related issues
· Review of existing facility conditions to establish baseline data for future improvement planning
