The Albanese & Lutzke and construction management firm of Paul Albanese, ASGCA and Chris Lutzke, ASGCA is celebrating its 10th anniversary. They are celebrating by remembering some of their most impactful projects of recent years.

BUILDING BUNKERS WITH HORSES
Back in 2005, Paul Albanese did something not a lot of golf designers can say they have — built bunkers using horses. This feat was done at Christiana Creek Country Club in Elkhart, Ind. The event received strong media coverage, including a two-page spread in Golf Magazine.
GOLF COURSE REMODELING
Over the past 10 years, the Albanese & Lutzke team has been involved in many successful golf course remodeling projects ranging from complete Master Plans, to practice areas, to bunker restoration, to tee placement, to green recontouring, to complete construction management for all 18 holes. THE PETE DYE COURSE AT FRENCH LICK RESORT
Their construction management team is proud to have worked with Pete Dye on The Pete Dye Course at French Lick Resort which opened in 2009. This course was ranked the Best New Course by both Golf Digest and Golf Magazine in 2009, and is on the Top 100 List for Public Courses by Golf Digest.
SWEETGRASS GOLF CLUB
Completed in 2009 for the Potawatomi Tribe, this golf course received numerous awards, including a Top Ten Best New from Golf Digest. The resort is now home to an annual Symetra Tour event, and is continually ranked in the Top 30 Best Casino Golf Courses by Golfweek Magazine.
EAGLE EYE GOLF CLUB
This public course in Michigan is a favorite among golfers in the region. Known for it’s island green on the 17th hole, the course has also been rated the 27th best public course in the country by Golfworld magazine in 2009 and the 4th best in Michigan.
UNIVERSITY OF EDINBURGH
Paul Albanese, as the Director of Golf Course Architecture at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, during which time he studied and explored all the historical golf venues of the British Isles, as well as teaches students the principles, theories and history of golf course architecture.
ROSELAND GOLF AND CURLING CLUB
Roseland Golf and Curling Club in Windsor Ontario is one of the only untouched, municipally owned Donald Ross golf courses in North America. The team brought back the Donald Ross bunker style to rave reviews, and a Canadian Tour Event.
INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS
Albanese & Lutzke have completed a variety of projects for clients in countries around the world, including Morocco, Dominican Republic, Canada, Russia, United Kingdom, China, India and Vietnam.
