ASGCA President Erik Larsen and Executive Director Chad Ritterbusch joined other leaders from the golf industry in Washington, D.C. on April 28 for “National Golf Day.” The day is dedicated to helping government leaders understand the economic, environmental and human benefits the game of golf and the golf industry have on the United States.

Larsen and Ritterbusch met with a number of key leaders in the industry and helped get out the message in the new “We Are Golf” campaign that quantifies golf’s benefits and impacts. Touting stats like the $195 billion total economic impact on the U.S. economy (2005 figures), “We Are Golf” is a concerted effort by the golf industry to share this compelling message.
