Brian Curley, ASGCA, is the highest ranking person from outside Asia on “Golf Inc.” magazine’s inaugural “Most Powerful in Asia” golf list. Curley placed 8th on the 15-person list.

The magazine’s list is headed by Ken and Tenniel Chu, borthers who operate Mission Hills Group in China. Curley is the lone American on the list and one of just two non-Asians.

“Asia is the fastest growing continent in the golf industry, and yet few people know the power brokers behind the business of golf,” said Jack Crittenden, Editor In Chief of Golf Inc. “This list should help explain the industry better and shape its future growth.”

The magazine reported, “The Asia list includes three Japanese, two Chinese, two Koreans, and one person from each of the following countries: Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, India and Vietnam. Paul Burley, a Brit now living in Singapore, also made the list.”
