The By Design profile of 2016 ASGCA Design Excellence Recognition Program honoree University of Southern Mississippi and the development of a new short-game facility in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
USM wanted a new short game facility on 3.5 acres of Hattiesburg Country Club. The area was wooded and dissected by wetlands. With assistance of Nathan Crace, ASGCA Associate (Watermark Golf/Nathan Crace Design), the wetland was made a key feature of the facility, which serves both the men’s and women’s teams.
