A recent article from Golf Course Industry recently reported that Dick Phelps, ASGCA is the recipient of the Rocky Mountain Golf Course Superintendents Association’s 2010 Honorary Lifetime Member award.
Association President Dave Cahalane presented the award to Phelps at the 2010 Annual Meeting held at Blackstone Country Club in Aurora, Colorado. Cahalane said, “Since 1967, Dick Phelps has been a huge influence on Colorado golf. … We superintendents appreciate what he has done to promote and further our profession.”
