A recent article from Front Page Golf says that Kyle Phillips, ASGCA has designed some of the most outstanding golf courses in the world.

Author Ed Travis writes that the majority of Phillips’ work has successfully been done overseas, and many of his U.S. courses have also been well-received. Travis mentions courses like Kingsbarns Golf Links in St. Andrews, Scotland; Dundonald Links at Loch Lomond Golf Club on the Firth of Clyde in Scotland; and The Grove outside of London as examples of Phillips’ handiwork.

In the article, Phillips says he tries to take advantage of whatever terrain a site has to offer, and he has gained a reputation as building very good links courses.
