Major construction at the Olympic golf course in Rio de Janiero, Brazil is complete. The news was reported by Gil Hanse, ASGCA  – and member of the ASGCA Board of Governors – to Golf Channel’s “Morning Drive” as part of Architects Week.

Hanse said that the (to date) three-and-a-half year project has been challenging at a number of levels, but a recent walk-through of the grounds with members of the International Olympic Committee and International Golf Federation was quite positive. “No changes were recommended,” he said.
