In a recent article from Balkans.com, the Ministry of Spatial Planning and Environment in Montenegro announced that Hurdzan/Fry Environmental Golf Design was chosen to develop a Golf Development Strategy for the country, which is located in southeastern Europe.

Although there are individual initiatives for the development of golf in Montenegro, developing a strategy allows the country to determine favorable locations for golf development, according to Igor Noveljic, Assistant of Minister. The country does not yet have a golf course.

The Golf Development Strategy will show how golf can have economic, social, and environmental impacts for the country. The Strategy will include suggestions for 10-12 locations and will address the direct and indirect benefits of each site.

ASGCA members Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry are principals for Hurdzan/Fry Environmental Golf Design.
