In the November 2009 edition of the National Golf Foundation‘s e-newsletter, “Inside the Ropes,” the organization reported that rounds played in the U.S. were up in September, and for the year as well.

According to the article, rounds played volume in the U.S. was up 4.1 percent in September 2009 when compared to September 2008, as reported by the National Rounds Played Report.Year-to-date rounds are up one-half percent.
