Dirt is moving and limited play could begin as early as summer of 2017 at the new TPC Colorado, an 18-hole facility near Boulder, Colorado, from Art Schaupeter, ASGCA, and Schaupeter Golf Architecture.
Businessden.com refers to the project as,”The first new Colorado golf course built this decade.” Schaupeter reports the Berthoud, Colorado-course will feature seven sets of tees and play 7,900 yards from the tips.
Schaupeter previously worked with the same developers – Hillside – on the Highland Meadows Golf Course in Widsor, Colorado, which opened in 2004.
Plans are in the works for the property to include 1,200 residential units and 4.5 miles of shoreline.
