The American Society of Golf Course Architects’ (ASGCA) Patron Program offers companies within the golf industry the opportunity to make lasting impressions on key decision-makers throughout golf. Benefits to participants include high visibility in print and electronic communications, involvement in ASGCA educational events and an expanded internet presence.
“The future of the golf course industry depends on architects, builders, suppliers and other industry professionals working together to educate people about the benefits of completing a successful golf course development or renovation project,” said Erik Larsen, ASGCA president. “ASGCA Patron Program members support efforts to help golf course developers, club leaders and owners make informed choices about their golf courses.”
Additional ASGCA Patron Program member benefits include:
- Access to the ASGCA membership database.
- Use of ASGCA Patron logo in all promotional materials.
- Listing on the online Resource Directory.
- Access to “Patron Pages” – ASGCA’s electronic newsletter designed specifically for Patrons and ASGCA members.
ASGCA continues to promote the benefits provided by a golf course beyond the playing field aspects. This “Value of the Golf Course” includes environmental, economic and social benefits to a community.
“Patron members are helping key decision-makers understand it takes a complete team of experts to effectively plan and operate golf course projects of all sizes,” Larsen said. “A healthier industry comes from educating clients, regulatory groups, financiers and other who impact golf course projects from start to finish.”
