One of an architect’s great challenges is looking at a piece of land and “seeing” how the completed course may look. But how does it happen? Bill Coore, ASGCA, illustrated his process for Cabot Cliffs in Nova Scotia for Golf Channel.

Cabot Cliffs, scheduled for a 2015 opening, will be the sister course to Cabot Links, a Coore-Ben Crenshaw design that has been ranked as one of the Top 100 courses in the world. Even before opening, some believe Cabot Cliffs may be even better.

Coore was interviewed as part of Architect Week on “Morning Drive,” a week-long feature that included appearances by fellow-ASGCA members Bob Cupp, Gil Hanse, Rees Jones and Jack Nicklaus.
