The American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA) welcomed Gary Brawley and Troy MG Vincent as new Associate members to its ranks at the group’s recent 68th Annual Meeting in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Their elections increase the number of ASGCA members who practice around the world to nearly 180.

  • Brawley is a Partner in Tripp Davis and Associates, working from their Arizona office. His representative courses include Whirlwind Golf Course – Cattail Course, Chandler, Arizona; The Golf Club at Redmond Ridge, Redmond, Washington; Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia, Peoria, Arizona; Turtle Dunes Golf Club, Acapulco, Mexico (remodel); and Eco-City International Golf Club, Tianjin, China (remodel).
  • Vincent is Owner and Senior Design Associate at Vincent Design, Augusta, Georgia. His courses include The Reserve at Lake Keowee, Sunset, South Carolina; Samanah Golf Club, Marrakech, Morocco; Timber Banks Golf Club, Baldwinsville, N.Y.; Buenaventura Golf Club, Cocle, Panama; and Santa Maria Golf and Country Club, Panama City, Panama.

Candidates for Associate membership in ASGCA complete a rigorous, multi-phase application process that includes peer review of four completed courses, discussions with project owners and a personal interview to assess the candidate’s professional capabilities. This process typically takes two years for an applicant to complete.
