Chicago’s “Golf 360” recently took an extensive look at the renovation of Oak Meadows Golf Course in Addison, Illinois. The project – headed by ASGCA President Greg Martin, assisted by fellow ASGCA members Forrest Richardson and Art Schaupeter – includes major flood abatement work for the course and surrounding community.
Annual flooding from nearby Salt Creek needed to be addressed, including input from the Army Corp of Engineers. On-course renovations continue, as well. Seeding is expected in 2016 with a soft opening in 2017 and full reopen in 2018.
